Zero-Logs and RAM-Only Servers Explained

Shieldeum does not store activity logs, and our servers run entirely in RAM. Here is what that means for your privacy.

Our No-Logs Policy

Shieldeum does not log your browsing activity, connection timestamps, DNS queries, or IP addresses. We keep only the minimal data needed to maintain your account (email, payment info, and subscription status). This means there is nothing to hand over, even if requested.

Our infrastructure is designed so that VPN servers do not write user activity to disk at any point during your session.

RAM-Only Infrastructure

Our VPN servers run entirely in volatile memory (RAM). Unlike traditional servers with hard drives, RAM-only servers lose all data when they are restarted or powered off. This provides an extra layer of protection: even if a server were physically seized, no browsable data would exist on it.

We regularly cycle our servers, which automatically wipes any temporary session data from memory.

What We Do Store

To provide the service, we store:

  • Your email address (for account login and communication)
  • Payment information (processed by our payment providers)
  • Subscription status and expiry date

We do not store which websites you visit, what you download, which servers you connect to, or how long your sessions last.
